Description: This course will focus on diversity in modern US history, particularly the influence of power among various social groups in the US and how markers of difference--class, ability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, language and sexual orientation--interact in the formation, experiences, and transformations of individual actors and complex groups.
Credit Hours: 3
